DONE! (.....followed by about 15 minutes of yogic streatching.) It was about 15 degrees and snowing.... not sure that I like running while its snowing. Funny, I didn't see ANY other runners out, strange I think for a Saturday morning... perhaps your not supposed to run when its snowing!? Could it be because the flakes fly straight into your eyeballs??
I went to the new Mississippi Market down on W 7th tonight shopping for produce.. that place is more dangerous than Whole Foods! I love it though.. almost ALL the produce is organic and beautiful. Next time though, I'll be sure to actually get dressed and wear some makeup... cute guys everywhere ;)
Tonight I made Gluten Free Blueberry White Chocolate Chunk Oatmeal cookies. YUM! They were made with Brown Rice Flour and Sweet Sorghum flour. Here is where I found the recipe. I ate too many, so I skipped dinner!

Ahhhhhhhhh........!!! Welcome to Run Yoga Bliss :)
I practice yoga, I'm training for a my first 10k, my middle name is Bliss and Blissful is also how I feel when I'm eating gluten free! This blog will be a culmination/combination of my yoga blog and my gluten free bachelorette blog so that I can keep it all in one place and possibly add a post more than once every 3-4 months! I'm a bad bad blogger. Love having one, writing posts.....not so much ;) I'll do my best!
I'm also a photographer, so hopefully, you'll enjoy the photos I upload as well...
10K Training Schedule Checklist:
W1D1 C25K completed 2/18/2012 - Grand/Summit to Lex. walked back from the groomer w/Mushu
W1D2 C25K completed 2/20/2012 - Summit/Victoria and Lincoln
W1D3 C25K completed 2/23/2012 - Bush Lake Road/ Boone after work.
I purchased a groupon for 10 heated yoga classes at The Firm in Minneapolis. I've done 2 so far. Very sweaty, grueling classes! Last week on Monday, I took yoga class in the morning and then ran w1d2 in the afternoon... loved it, but my hamstrings were sore all week long!

Bad, bad blogger!!
I know its been QUITE awhile since I last posted on my new GF blog.. I'm just not much of a blogger. I get distracted. Oddly enough, on that note, I get distracted a bit less these days, being gluten free and all. One of the many, many perks/benefits of becoming gluten free. Better focus, more energy, improved mood, I even was told the other day that I have the prettiest, most clear skin they had ever seen. Now I've known this person for a number of years and see them nearly everyday. Suddenly out of the blue she looks down at me and proclaims this. Now I don't know if being GF for 8 weeks now is the cause of the skin improvement or if maybe its because my diet now has a lot more nutrients and fat in it (coconut oil), but I digress as the coconut oil benefits are worthy of their own post... soon to come ;)
Last night a friend of mine responded to a post I put up on my facebook (the post was related to a paleo diet discussion which I found fascinating. It can be found here: Matt Lalonde/Paleo video. The 27+ minute video is totally worth watching, if only because Matt Lalonde is sooooo dang cute (and smart!) Anyway, my friend's comment on the post referred to eating lots of meat at Fogo de Chao the next day. It got my wheels spinning... hmmm ... might they have good gluten free options?? Off to google I went... next thing I know, I'm stumbling upon this great blog written by the wife of a celiac who happens to be a local Twin Citian. In her blog: More Gluten Free Options, she lists dozens of restaurants that are either entirely GF or have good GF options. I'm so excited to find this!
Well, thats what I have time to share at the moment. I'll be popping in randomly whenever I get a chance to share new links, interesting GF news, product reviews and other interesting health news.

Wheat Belly
The other day I purchased the kindle version of "Wheat Belly" and downloaded it to my Andoid tablet. Its pretty intriguing.... so, I'm foraying into gluten free. We'll see how it goes.
